Axel, Jake,

I installed

alsa-kmdl-2.6.17-1.2139_FC5-1.0.12-48_rc1.rhfc5.at.i686.rpmand

and

alsa-driver-1.0.12-48_rc1.rhfc5.at.i386.rpm

and it made no difference. 720p is the worst (ABC and
FOX); the audio and video have many dropouts and
stutters. The audio is very broken. 1080i audio is
okay, but the video is dropping frames. Like
before--only when the audio is enabled. I've tried
changing the audio settings in Control Center and
~/.kde/share/config/kcmartsrc which made no
difference.

Thanks,

Cal
