[mythtv-users] Strange X CPU usage for 720p input streams

A little more information on this problem. I watched of full half hour of
a 720p recording. mythfrontend was consistently around 45 %CPU usage. And
then, about half of the time Xorg %CPU usage would jump up from near 0 %CPU
usage to 50% consuming all available idle cycles. At the time this occurs,
the video is a little jerky and audio with occasionally skip, where as both
had been very good previously. At the time of this high Xorg %CPU usage, X
stdout scrolls this continuously for minutes at a time:

.

2006-07-03 02:48:28.311 NVP: prebuffering pause

2006-07-03 02:48:28.328 NVP: prebuffering pause

2006-07-03 02:48:28.345 NVP: prebuffering pause

.

.

,

And, 'mythfrontend -v playback' coincidently is scrolling this:

2006-07-03 02:48:28.312 NVP: Waiting for prebuffer.. 0 LDAALDA

2006-07-03 02:48:28.328 NVP: Waiting for prebuffer.. 0 dAALLDA

2006-07-03 02:48:28.345 NVP: Waiting for prebuffer.. 0 dALDLAA

.

.

.

Again, I don't see this with 1080i. It's Xorg %CPU usage is always near
zero. This prebuffing messages do occur with 1080i, but only last for 1
second here and there, never continuously.
