[mythtv-users] lm_sensors and MythTV

I thought it would be a good idea to monitor my CPU temp, as MythTV  
can push it a little hard.

So I tried to get lm_sensors working on my K8M8MS mobo.

I never did succeed in getting the sensors working, but my efforts  
did cause MythTV to stop working, complaining about protocol problems  
among other things. Long delays occurred in trying to do just about  
anything. Removing lm_sensors made everything normal again with Myth.

I know the sensors use the i2c bus, as do my Hauppauge cards. The  
"sensor-detect" program seemed to want to activate the "sensors" on  
the PVR cards (I said no). Is this a known problem and has anybody  
had experience with it or perhaps even come up with a fix?
