[mythtv-users] Installing new Firewire card

I installed the new card and test-mpeg2 -r 0 works reliably.  However, recording in Myth does not work at all.  I've tried both P2P and  broadcast and Mythbackend reports "No Input in 15 seconds [P:0 N:0] (select).  Are there specific plugctl commands I should test?
