Have you run mythtv-setup?

>From what I can see here, you've missed some essential steps in the
documentation. Please go back and check so that you've followed it
closely.You need to attach your defined channel 'cable' to the card
input. 

Have you setup and defined channels and a grabber?

You will also have to check that /mnt/store exists and is writable for
your mythtv user.
