[mythtv-users] Video Database Protection needed

Is there any way to keep a remote frontend from deciding
that videos in the database should be deleted (from the database)
simply because it can't see them (such as a temporary NFS unavailability)?

My video collection was off line when the kid decides to
surf the videos, and seeing none, goes into video manager
and answers yes to the delete all from the database prompt.

Grrrrrr!

It would seem that there could be a flagfile in the
video directory which the would also be in the
database, and if you can't see that file you
can't delete videos from the database, because
chances are, they are still there, but your machine
didn't mount the NFS share (for whatever reason).
