I thought I read somewhere that you couldn't have the v4l and the dvb  
stuff at the same time. I think it's OK to have the "DVB for Linux"  
and "DVB Core" as modules but the frontends will conflict, because  
you have DVB from the cx2388x and from the DVB section.

This may resolve when the v4l and DVB stuff is all merged into the  
kernel but I'm sure you don't want to wait that long.

 From the Gentoo MythTV HowTo:

"You can only load either the DVB or Video 4 Linux drivers, but not  
both".
