[mythtv-users] Bad quality PVR-150 ivtv 0.4.0

Hi folks,

I have been trying to figure out why I (only sometimes) get bad quality
when watching/recording LiveTV. Haven't found any settings in ivtvctl
yet that have improved my quality, and to exclude Myth as the problem
I'm running cat /dev/video0 after tuning to a channel.

Please see this snapshot from a captured mpeg-stream, a picture
sometimes says more than a 1000 words ;)

As you can see, especially with the subtitles (which is integrated in
the aerial stream by my provider, ie nothing I can do anything about),
the text is smeared out like it's interlacing when it shouldn't, or
likewise.

Below is my ivtv-settings, if you'd like more detailed info just drop me
a line.

My system is a Duron 1300 running KnoppMyth R5A26 w/ ivtv 0.4.0 using
encoder rev 0x02040011 (the one that comes with that release of KnoppMyth).

Any help is greatly appreciated, Google didn't want to help me out :)

Johan
