[mythtv-users] Slow frontend GUI since upgrade from X.org 6.8.2 to 6.9

Hi folks,

A few weeks ago I tried a CVS version of X.org (pre-6.9) and got an
awful slow mythfrontend GUI. I ignored the problem, since it was still
a CVS version. Now X.org 6.9 entered Debian unstable and I have the
same problem again. Switching from one menu item to another takes
nearly one second on an Athlon XP 2500+.

I had this problem now with serveral recent SVN versions on Debian
unstable. I use the ati driver in X.org. Video and other apps work as
before, only the mythfrontend GUI is slow as hell. Is there anyone with
the same problem or even a solution?
