[mythtv-users] Is this DB schema as ambiguous as it looks?

Not if both tuner cards are using the same video source.  The chanid is 
typically the sourceid*1000+channum (see 
http://www.gossamer-threads.com/lists/mythtv/dev/160587#160587 for 
details).  All of my recordings--regardless of which card records 
them--start with "1".
