That shouldn't be a problem. On FC4 w/ATrpms, mythbackend runs as
root, so all the necessary rw permissions already exist.

There are some modprobe.conf tweaks you can make, but what they are
escapes me at the moment. I seem to recall there being a script from
pchdtv.com that would do it for you.

Your system isn't exactly optimal for MythHDTV, so you have to do
some configuration tweaking. There's a lot more to it than I can just
sit down and write at the moment though. Most of it has been covered
on this list in the past though, so search the archives. Some day,
when I actually have something that resembles free time again, I'll
get around to a formal write-up...

You may not have enough signal strength to lock onto the others, not
sure. Try running the backend in a console window and/or look in /var/
log/mythtv/mythbackend for clues as to what's going on.
