I would say "Look for a card with svideo and DVI" and omit the "at  
the least" of your specification. One can get a Sapphire Radeon  
9250SE for £20 - that has DVI; I don't know how good it is for  
MythTV, but I'll bet you wouldn't pay more than twice that that for a  
card with DVI that is good enough. I'm sure, however, that HDMI would  
cost you SEVERAL times as much.

Assuming we're someday actually able to benefit from HDMI's  
encryption on MythTV - an assumption of which I'm somewhat sceptical  
- then cards supporting it will cost peanuts by then, too.

So spend £30 & again £30 in 3 years' time, or spend well over £100  
for future-proofing.
