I think the reason you got so many conflicting opinions is that most of 
the people were describing the process for moving VIDEOS in MythVideo.  
What you were really asking is how to move RECORDINGS in MythTV.  I'm 
sure the title of the email just threw people off. Reading this thread 
was like fingernails on a chalkboard - I was just screaming "NO! imdb.pl 
has nothing to do with his problem!  Read the post again!". 

Anyway, try taking the trailing slash off your RecordFilePrefix.  If you 
have multiple backends, you will need to change the value for each of 
them.  IIRC, Myth makes the full file path by using the RecordFilePrefix 
parameter for the backend that recorded the program, and appends a slash 
and the 'basename' column from the recording.  If those 2 parameters 
accurately reflect where the file is located it SHOULD work.  (YMMV, I 
am on 0.20 and I don't know how much this has changed)
