I hadn't posted about this yet as I wanted to make sure it my not my
setup or cards that had gone bad. I only use the EIT listings for
radio (also via tv_grab_dvb due to inertia, using DVB on demand, and
the reports of the EIT scanner causing problems in the past). I'm
using the Sutton Coldfield transmitter.
I noticed this on Sunday when none of our recordings (ISIHAC,
Gardeners' QT) were recorded when we were out. Last night I tried the
BBC1 and ITV1 muxes and neither produced any schedulable listings for
the radio (durations etc are there in the listings). I just tried
again with the BBC1 mux and got the same problem.
I'll follow Stuart's advice and try the other 4 muxes - personally I
would have thought the BBC1 and ITV1 muxes would be more likley than
the others to have good data, but I guess nothing is that
straightforward ;). If I don't get any luck I'll move over to MythTV's
native EIT support and see if that cures it. I've never had a problem
like this in the past using tv_grab_dvb for the past couple of years,
which is why I still use it.
Are there any performance issues I should be aware of moving over the
EIT scanner?
