Sorry for the delay in response (I'm writing up my PhD thesis ATM!)

I've got the latest MPlayer rpm build (46) from Livna. I know there are more
recent builds that I will defo install instead.

I'll also have a look at the video o/p. Can you tell me which are the most
relevant o/p methods for the above system with an nVidia (GeForce) card?
