[mythtv-users] lirc problems

I'm having one heck of a problem. Everything was working fine  
including lirc until I tried to implement the updated feedback method  
someone posted earlier this month. After restarting lircd mythtv is  
unresponsive to the remote. irw shows the correct codes and I've even  
gone so far as to make a completely new /~.lircrc

/var/log/everything/current has "lircd(hauppauge) ready" not sure  
where else to look or what happened.
