Hi everyone,

I'm using MythTV 0.19 installed from the ATRPMS distribution on Fedora Core 4.
The machine is an Athlon 2400 with 512MB of RAM, using two DVB-T cards (an
AVerMedia and a TwinHan) and an nVidia 5200 displaying on S-Video to a
standard PAL TV.

For several weeks now we've been having a very curious problem on the main
front end. You can watch one show with no problems. When you watch another
show, and exit (using the 'Esc' button on the keyboard), it pauses for a
couple of seconds, then starts playing the previous show again. If you try to
exit now, it puts you into the second show; you can't exit normally, you just
cycle between the two shows. If you leave one show to play all the way
through, it goes to the other show. The only way to exit is to kill the front
end.

Now, I have another front end on the network that works fine. So I did a 'SQL
diff' of the settings. You can find that at
http://tangram.dnsalias.net/~paulway/mythfe_differences.txt. I've also got a
complete log of the front end running 'mythfrontend -v all' logged to a file,
as http://tangram.dnsalias.net/~paulway/mythfe_debug_full_2.log (a cut-down
version of this with most of the repetitive start-up and playback stuff cut
out, is available at
http://tangram.dnsalias.net/~paulway/mythfe_debug_full_ex.log). I won't be
surprised if it's something I've set in my various permutations of using and
not using XvMC. I've googled all the terms I can think of and haven't seen
anything like this. I'd appreciate any help you can give me before my partner
goes completely crazy and kills me with her bare hands.

Have fun,

Paul
