Hi Matthew,

It appears the tv_grab_za ripper doesn't behave the way Myth expects it to. The easiest way around this is to manually load the xml data into the Myth database. Robert Botha has created a site where you can download an XMLTV file for all DSTV ETV and SABC data, all in one, zipped. The link is here. http://download.flash.za.org/schedule/zaxmltv.php
Once you have unzipped the XML file, you can manually load it into the mysql database using the mythfilldatabase command with a --file switch. 
You can automate this process by writing a script to wget the zip file, unzip it and run the mythfilldatabase command, and adding this script to a cron task.

Hello,

I'm having a problem with tv_grab_za. Firstly, when I run it I get an error,
unable to access channel "TVchannelxxxxx", line 367. It crashes everytime,
so I can't get channel info from it.

Secondly, is there a way I can get the tv_grab_za option into MythTV so it
runs automatically etc?

I am using the latest KnoppMyth release.
