[mythtv-users] MythTV live TV playback failed ( vidiocgcap:: invalid argument)

MythTV Version : 1.91 (12-Feb-2006)
Distro : FC5
Kernel: 2.6.16 and 2.6.17
Error:                    vidiocgcap:: invalid argument
TV-Capture Card: KWorld Terminator (SAA7134 driver)

I am getting a "vidiocgcap" error on a new MyhTv installation (0.19),
when attempting to watch live TV. Watching live TV using TV-Time and
KDE-TV works without any problems.
On a FC 2.6.17 kernel with MythTV compiled from source (*subersion
checkout)*, the error message changes to "vidiocgmbuff:: Invalid
Argument", but the end result is the same. MythTV changes screens to
Live TV, a black screen appears and after 30Seconds MythTV returns to
the menu.
I can watch TV using TV-Time and KDE-TV on both kernels without any
problems. A search on google and the MythTV mailing list brought up 2
similar problem reports ( no solution) but in connection with ATSC cards
( also KWorld).

Has anybody else run into this and found a solution ?

thanks
joe
