Hello,
I am trying to get the mythfrontend to work on a PC with a Matrox G650
card, with the matrox drivers.
XV works when playing videos with mplayer. Originally, playing videos
with xine would display wrong coulors until I used the option
Option "XaaNoOffscreenPixmaps"
in xorg.conf. Now that works well, too.
But in myth, when trying to watch live tv or recordings, I hear the
sound but do not see the image; the screen is black or green or purple (which points to chromakeying).
The video preview, for example in the recording screen, works.
I am trying to watch on the PC screen via DVI. I am on 0.19.fixes on Ubuntu Dapper.
The output of "mythtv nuvfile.mpg" shows:

Any ideas, except for changing the video card? (I am considering it, but actually, I always were convinced that the Matrox cards are quite good).
Thanks and best regards,
Matthias
