Hello again,

there is another error message in the syslog.

In the myth log:

2006-08-17 18:11:20.645 DVBRec(0) Error: Failed to set demux buffer size for
pid 0xa6 to 3600384
                        eno: Cannot allocate memory (12)
2006-08-17 18:11:23.067 DVB#0 ERROR - Failed to set demux buffer size (pid 18)
          (12) Cannot allocate memory

and in the syslog:

Aug 17 18:11:20 marvin kernel: [17293986.388000] allocation failed: out of
vmalloc space - use vmalloc=<size> to increase size.
Aug 17 18:11:23 marvin kernel: [17293988.808000] allocation failed: out of
vmalloc space - use vmalloc=<size> to increase size.

Mmh, I cannot see where thes vmalloc message comes from; googling I found
references to xfs, and my recordings are on an xfs partition; but in this
case it seems more related to the DVB driver, doesn't it?

The question is: where do I use "vmalloc=<size>"?

Thanks for your support!

	Matthias
