Thanks, I'll give that a try with my PVR-500, I think I did skip from
something like 0.4.3 or 0.4.4 to a the new API versions. Most of the
post 4.x versions had a terrible time cooperating with my other drivers
until the kernel integration work started bearing fruit recently.
