[mythtv-users] restarting frontend from remote machine after crash

I've been looking around on the lists and haven't found any solutions
so here goes.

My frontend (running on xbox) crashes occationally and since I'm using
the xboxremote I can't restart mythtvfrontend on the box and therefore
usually reboots the frontend to get it back.

I'm wondering if there isn't a more elegant way to either get the
frontend to restart automatically when it crashes or to restart it via
a ssh connection from my  laptop (the same I use to reboot it)....

any  suggestions  or insights?
