I'm stuck with SD for a while yet as my toddlers would make short work
of nice HDTV. So even a sempron 3100+ is overkill.

Unfortunately I do use the USB for my streamzap remote.

My concern is really PCI bus bandwidth. Are 3 PCI tuner cards + 1 pcmcia
wireless NIC / AGP always going to cause problems? Am I just trying to
push too much data across a bus in excess of its design limits? In my
case slots 1 & 5 share an irq with the AGP port (so having four cards is
always going to share something & the pcmcia only likes to play in slot 2)
