[mythtv-users] PVR 350 vs PVR 500

Hi all.

I have a PVR 350 card and its working really good. But I have been
looking at the PVR 500 card with dual tuners. But I haven't understod
yet if it uses hardware encoding like the 350 card does or software
encoding?

If it uses software encoding would a computer @ PIII 1Ghz 384MB Ram stil
be able to encode two channels at the same time? Or view one channel and
record an other?
