I've got the A8N-SLI and I can't say enough good things about it.
There's an optional serial connector on the motherboard and it comes
with the external serial adaptor - along with tons of other crazy
stuff. It would have been nice to trade a couple of the 10 USB ports
for another serial port, but it's enough to channel change my digital
cable box. I got an IR blaster with two blasters on it for when I
start doing dual satellite.
