Well, if I go to Set Priorities and scroll down to my rule (called
"Old BatGal (Power Search)", it claims "record at any time on any
channel". Is there some -other- place I needed to have set it to
record?

Hmm. Haven't tried that one yet, but since my rule -did- show the 6
old ones (in a few days---not "tonight" as I originally wrote) as
matching when I used the Test button, I would have expected they'd be
flagged to record when I finished going through the menu after using
the Record button. It's almost as if the New Episodes Only
non-power-search rule is getting applied by the scheduler after my
Power Search rule and is bashing its results, whereas I'd have assumed
that all rules would be run in parallel in one giant SQL query and all
matches would be recorded.

(Btw, setting each episode to manually record using the Override
section of MythWeb worked just fine, but it's a pain and error-prone
and I was doing this anyway as a test...)

p.s. I can't tell if they're showing them in order or not. They're
showing the three part pilot next friday, followed by the last 2
episodes... maybe they're starting over in showing it in order?

No idea. I see 6 w/descriptions on the 20th and then a couple more
on the 24th/25th; the latter are both 2 hours long, and claim an
airdate of 2003, e.g., I think they're the first two episodes of
the new series.
