Have you tried running mytbackend with options like: -v database,eit ?

That output helped me a lot, I found out that one table in the database
had NULL values when it shouldn't. From that verbose output (especially
if you enable only one channel) it's not that hard to spot what is
wrong. Especially if you can read SQL.
