Errr, why are you trying to put 600 lines on a SDTV device that will
only display 480 lines?  (I'm Assuming you're in NTSC land)

You've just asking for the NV scaler to pop-in and mess with your
output.  IMHO, you should ONLY be playing with 640x480, 720x480
modelines.
