I'm already using dvdrtools. cdrtools isn't installed:

I read a post on the KnoppMyth PHPBB stating that this problem (of not
seeing IDE burners) is fixed in MythTV svn. So apparently it's a MythTV
issue, not a tools issue.

So... when is the next MythTV release scheduled?
