So right now, im currently using MCE and was curious as to the capabilities
of mythtv..

The way the qwest choice cable works is.. Theres one set top box.. then for
every other tv theres a little rf adapter that plugs into the wall outlet
and the coax cable.. like a man in the middle.. i was wondering if anyone
knew how to bypass the qwest remote and channel changing system because at
the moment in order to watch tv on my comp i have to set the comp to channel
6 and then change the channel with quests remote. This however is not
condusive to the nature of an htpc.. I cannot use the mce guide, cannot set
things to record automatically, and changing the channel takes about 4
seconds as the qwest rf module is not the swiftest thing.

So basically, what im asking is theres a way around that with MythTV and if
so how would i go about doing it because i have not been able to do it with
MCE.. Nor is there a good place for information on MCE..

Thanks in advance!
Saionce
