I've been bringing up an AMD64 machine over the last couple of days.
I'm Gentoo based here and using the 64-bit kernel. I'm having no
trouble playing Myth's nuv files right off my Myth NFS server using
mplayer. mplayer (or Gnome) is accepting the nuv file type. Certainly
the name part is unfriendly for this sort of video browsing.

The picture looks quite good. I've not tested audio yet.
