[mythtv-users] Pvr-250 refuses channel change

I must admit, that I am using the 0.3.7k driver, so I am not as
familiar with the 0.2 series. What fixed it for me was to:

do a make menuconfig in /usr/src/linux

go into the device drivers section and from there to the i2c support section
go into the other i2c chip support and check to see if you have
"EEPROM reader" set to be compiled into the kernel. If that is the
case, then either unselect it or compile it as a module and make sure
that the module is loaded into your kernel after the tveeprom module.

hope this helps.
