    Paul,

I struggled with this too. I think you need 3 edits of the source.

http://cvs.mythtv.org/trac/attachment/ticket/478/mythdvd.patch

and

http://cvs.mythtv.org/trac/changeset/7511

That's the only difference between my source and SVN (7687) andeverything compiles.

Chris

  Kevin,

I reinstalled FC4 and then svn'd mythtv and built and installedit successfully. I then svn'd mythplugins and still get the sameproblem (this is with svn 7738):

The above link doesn't help since it ultimately says the issuewas closed on 10/25 with the description "Since it appears thisis fixed in the latest Fedora Core 4, I'm closing this ticket.",but is it fixed? If so, what version of glibc or libdvdread should Ibe using?

[mythtv at mythtvbe ~]$ uname -r
2.6.13-1.1532_FC4

[mythtv at mythtvbe ~]$ rpm -qa '*glibc*'
glibc-headers-2.3.5-10.3
glibc-2.3.5-10.3
glibc-devel-2.3.5-10.3
glibc-common-2.3.5-10.3
glibc-kernheaders-2.4-9.1.94

  and

[mythtv at mythtvbe ~]$ rpm -qa '*libdvdread*'
libdvdread-devel-0.9.4-8cvs.2.fc4
libdvdread-0.9.4-8cvs.2.fc4

I followed Jarod's instructions and then the instructions for switchingover to svn. Any ideas?

  Thanks,
  phlepper
