I've got the same problem, but had always assumed it was because that window
wasn't obeying the GUI offsets I'd set.  I use a PAL TV as an output device and
have configured my graphics card's TV-Out to use overscan.  To make sure the GUI
was all visible, I shrank it down (so it would all fit on screen) and fixed up
the X and Y offsets to centre it.  As far as I can tell, the EPG screen uses the
same dimensions as the GUI, but doesn't obey the offsets and so sits up in the
top left corner of the screen instead of centred.  I'm also using 0.18.1, btw.
