[mythtv-users] still trying to get firewire working

After struggling with this basically since 0.17, here is where I am:

DCT-6200 - watching SD channels is fine, watching HD channels showing SD 
content is "jumpy" with numerios audio buffer underruns in the frontend log. 
HD channels with HD content are completely no-go, just black screen and 
eventual ounce back to menu.

I am running Gentoo, using the latest libiec 61883, libraw1394 ver 1.2.0. 
gscanbus shows the same info everyone else on this list has posted.  The cpu 
is a 2.8ghz p4.  I am running kernel 2.6.10 and ivtv-0.2.0-rc3j.  Do I need 
recording profiles setup for firewire (currently there are none)?

Any ideas or what to look at next?  I so badly want this feature working.
