Your worried about loosing the last 60 seconds?????
Excuse me for a moment while I burst out in a maniac-type laugh... ;-)
Yesterday there was an article on "Today Tonight" claiming some shows
go up to 30 minutes late here in Australia. I am not sure if I saw the
entire article, it was running late...
Also, yesterday, I managed to record the last 11 minutes of "Seconds
to Disaster". It was a disaster (pun intended). It was scheduled
(according to d1.com.au) to be on at 10:30-11:30. I thought I manually
checked this with ninemsn.com.au in fact (did I somehow mess up?).
Just to be sure, I stopped the recording 20 minutes late (11:50).
In reality, I don't know what time it started (9:41?), but it must
have finished at 10:41 (11 minutes after the start of the
recording). So, from my point-of-view, it effectively started
approx. 49 minutes early.
Really, just missing out on the last minute is often considered a
complete success here, in this hit&miss world.

Same ;-)
Next time you are worried about missing the last 60 seconds, spare a
thought for those less fortunate then you...
