[mythtv-users] vnc used, now channels gone

Hi,

I started mythtv via vnc and it seems that due to that I lost all my channels 
in mythtv ?!?!?
Anyone knows why this can happen ?

Anyways, I tried to put them back via mythfilldatabase --xawchannels
but i have no idea what is meant by 
<sourceid>    = cardinput

I tired both "television" which is set in my xawtvrc and "Tuner 0" which is 
the one used for mythtv (my xawtv comes from another PC with another card).

None of this works.

What is the right syntax ?

btw: does scannig channels work ? In my mythtv-0.18 the scanning button in the 
channel editor is disabled.
