[mythtv-users] Current state of a HushPC frontend?

I found some stuff talking about issues using a HushPC as a frontend. The problems that seemed to be present (at least for the Mini ITX variety) are:

- quality of the built in S-Video out
- space constraints and heat issues if throwing in a PVR-350
- driver issues with the Mini-ITX motherboard.

However, most of the stuff I found seemed to be a couple of years old. I was wondering if the same problems still exist or if people are sucessfully using them for a frontend?

Ideally I'd like to bulid a front-end with no tuner card, but I'm concerned now about the quality of the S-Video out port. If I put a PVR 350 in, I'm now concerned about burning it up. I guess another option is to not put in a 350 but do put in a simple TV out card (suggestions?). And has driver support for the chipsets improved?

Thoughts?

regards,

Paul
