Hmmm... Doesn't do it on mine.  (Knoppmyth V5R15.1).    On mine, the program 
guide simply stays Semi-transparent all the time and has no corner window. 
I'd much rather have the guide become opaque with the corner window - much 
easier to read the guide.

Is it just possibly a question of Knoppmyth not using the lastest version of 
MythTV?  (Not sure what version it's currently using...)
