Dear Pundit-R owners:

I've recently built a Pundit-R as my mythtv box. But I'm having
trouble playing 1080i HD content.

If I use the "radeon" driver, the right 1/4 to 1/3 of the display is
just a block of pink/purple color. From what I read on the Web, it's
related to the xv output driver. I tried to use '-vo x11' switch for
mplayer when play recorded 1080i program and it displays OK. Also I
should mention that 720p content plays fine without any problem.

If I use the "fglrx" driver from ATI, I get a lot of the "BadAlloc
(insufficient resources for operation)" errors and no video at all.

I'm wondering what other Pundit-R owners use for the video driver and
what are the settings. And how are you doing when playing 1080i
content?

Thanks,

Xiaotian
