Yeah.  Autodetection was added around 0.1.10-pre2-ck85 (or so).  Since 
there hasn't been a "stable" release since then, all the documentation 
that exists is currently written for 0.1.9 (and, in most cases not well 
written since there are over 50 tuners usable through the Linux tuner 
driver and Hauppauge uses a great number of them in their cards--meaning 
2 is very seldom correct).

However, since the pre-release 0.2 versions are actually more stable 
(and far more feature-filled) than the "stable" 0.1.9, it doesn't really 
make sense to use the "stable" version anymore.  Eventually, the 
quantity of documentation that was written for the 0.2+ versions will 
exceed that of the 0.1.9 versions, so people will be more likely to find 
the new info.
