With regards to your XMLTV issue, are you sure you have the right City
location and timezones set?
With regards to the recording issue, I think the problem is that myth
records single shows and would need to be modified so the two adjacent
shows are a single recording. The problem arises if you want to
delete one of the shows but not the other.
