[mythtv-users] FC3 No Sound

Hello all,

For the past couple days I've been reading through the archives and
many faq's to resolve my problem of not having sound while watching
live tv.  I know the hardware works because one week ago I had a
working MythTV system but I was messing around with the partitions and
hosed my system.  So now I'm trying to rebuild things.

I have an ATI TV Wonder VE which is setup in modprobe.conf.  It works
fine when using tvtime.  Sound also comes through when using tvtime,
but I know that's just because tvtime unmutes the line-in.  My
soundcard is a soundblaster live.

I've changed the mixer settings according to the faq's but I still
cannot get any sound in MythTv.

I've got /dev/dsp and /dev/mixer set as the audio output in MythTv.

So, in summary, my problem is this: All volumes are set according to
the documentation, but I'm still not getting any sound.
