[mythtv-users] Cooling Hard Drives

Years ago, I worked for a cheap cie that would not let me buy real
servers. I had to use, under NT4, software raid with a stack of
barracudas.

Since theses generated a lot of heat, the trick, at the time, was to
use a 80mm (or 92mm? can't remember) fans hot glued with motherboard
spacers (you know, those white plastic spacers) on top of the drives.

Of course, with took a lot of space so I used some bread boards to
extend the drive cage.

Sadly, I never took pictures. :)
