[mythtv-users] using the Buttons "Scan Channels(s)" and"Advanced" ?

I am in India, so what would be the XMLTV id's and Frequency ID be ?
Are Frequency ID like - E3, E4,S2, S39, ....etc
 can i leave the XMLTV -id blank
