[mythtv-users] Segmentation fault with mythfrontend

When I start mythfrontend it gets to the initial blue background then 
fails with a segmentation fault (see copy of output at the end of this 
message). btw: there are no files in /var/log/mythtv  to help.

Details of system: 
Mandriva 2005LE on AMD sempron 2.2 GHz
No TV card yet (I am just wanting to try the software out for other 
media sources, then I will buy a card later)

History:
I had v .15.1 installed, setup mysql and mythtv (put in a non-existent 
DVB card in the config), started the backend, and was able to get to the 
initial screen of mythfrontend and navigate around OK.

Then I downloaded the .18.1 rpms from http://rpm.nyvalls.se/10.2/RPMS/ 
and installed them.  urpmi removed the older rpms and also wanted 
various libraries etc that I didn't have.  I located them, and 
eventually all the rpms installed OK.  It seemed to be OK with the 
existing mysql database, so I ran mythtv-setup again.  The only thing 
that seemed to go wrong here was that it reported it could not get 
program information from my provider.  Then I ran mythbackend, followed 
by mythfrontend and the following resulted.
