[mythtv-users] rainbow static on preview

the little preview box on the "Watch Recordings" page has a lot of
rainbow snow or static. I figure it's some artifact of the reduction
in size from the full recording. is this normal or is there something
I can do that would clean it up? The recording are fine once I play
them full screen. It's distracting when I'm trying to think of which
show I want to watch and it makes the previews almost useless
