try running the command from the command line.
this time you will want to ssh in but have the X showing on the mythbox,
not the machine you are logging in from:
ssh mythbox
(password stuff)
export DISPLAY=:0
xine (etc, the rest as per command line given by Daniel)
observe what happens and either fix the error or post back :-)
