[mythtv-users] Myth, PVR-350 TV-out & KDE

I'm having a problem trying to see the entire screen on my TV-out. 
I've been looking back at some of the old posts on this group and on
the ivtv-dev group and it seems that the consensus is to use another
manager such as ratpoison.  I've checked "display X in a window" and
used the offset options but they don't seem to make any difference. 
(Actually I can't even tell if I'm using the "display X in window"
since I can't see the checkbox.)  My question is has anyone
successfully used KDE as a window manager, the TV-out from the PVR-350
and be able to see everything?
